OUR HISTORY
Mr. Shelby's Barber Shop was born from a friendship, a routine and a shared dream. It all started in Algés, when Luiz Fernando and Guilherme Alves — two friends from São Paulo — met weekly to get their hair cut by Jeferson Magno, a talented barber from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. More than just meetings to take care of one's appearance, these moments became conversations about life, culture, identity and, of course, about entrepreneurship.
Brazilian immigrants in Portugal, the three shared a desire to build something meaningful far from home. This is how the idea of creating a barbershop that would be more than just a service space came about: a meeting point, a welcoming environment, an extension of the Brazilian barbering tradition, adapted to the style and demands of today's clientele.
Since 2022, Mr. Shelby's has been a reflection of this vision. A place where every haircut carries technique, style and, above all, attention to detail. We value personal care as a ritual, and service as an art. Here, each client is treated with respect, listening and dedication — because we believe that true elegance begins with good service.
